GOLF CART RENTALS

The terms and conditions below must be acknowledged at the time of Golf Cart Pick Up.

 • Check-in is 2:00 PM → carts available for pick up ONLY during business hours
• Check-out is 12:00 PM → carts must be returned by 11:00 AM
• Guests must contact the office for late returns 

 Agreement and Certification 

 1. The lessee acknowledges receipt of the golf cart and states that it has been examined and accepted in good condition, and agrees to return it in the same condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

2. The lessee agrees to use the golf cart only in a safe and lawful manner, to be at least 21 years of age, and to hold a valid unrestricted driver’s license.

3. The lessee gives permission for Meramec Valley Campground & RV Park and M&M Golf Cars, LLC to photocopy or otherwise retain copies of all required driver’s licenses and related rental records.

4. The lessee understands and agrees that they are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear to the golf cart, and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify both M&M Golf Cars, LLC and Meramec Valley Campground & RV Park from any claims, losses, damages, liability, or expenses arising from the lessee’s use, operation, or possession of the golf cart, except to the extent caused by a party’s sole negligence. 

 Terms of Agreement 

 Each lessee agrees to hold harmless and indemnify M&M Golf Cars, LLC and Meramec Valley Campground & RV Park from any claims, losses, damages, liability, or expenses arising from the lessee’s use, operation, or possession of the golf cart, except to the extent caused by a party’s sole negligence if required for consistency with the rest of this agreement. 

 Each lessee agrees to read and abide by all instructions appearing on the golf cart and to operate the cart in accordance with those instructions at all times. 

 The lessee certifies that a certificate of insurance is required and must provide liability, property insurance, and physical damage coverage on the vehicle, and must list M&M Golf Cars, LLC as an additional named insured and loss payee. 

 Charges for Damages 

• Headlight (each) $100
• Leaning left or right $150
• Bench seat cut or burn $150
• Steering repairs $250
• Lost key $25
• Windshield $155
• Mid/Rear body repairs $300
• Seat back cut or burn $100
• Front cowl repairs $300
• Cosmetic scratches, dents, damage larger than the size of a quarter $150
• Decorations or remnants of decor (tape etc) left on cart upon return $50

 Golf Cart Rules 

 1. Golf carts must be operated only by the lessee and approved authorized drivers.

2. The operator must be at least 21 years old and have a valid unrestricted driver’s license.

3. The golf cart must be operated carefully and courteously, with pedestrians and bicycles having the right of way at all times.

4. The operator and passengers are responsible for all actions while the cart is in use.

5. No intoxicated or impaired operation is permitted.

6. Golf carts are provided with a full tank of fuel. Additional fuel used during the rental period will be charged at $5.00 per gallon and must be purchased on site at MVOA.

7. Use headlights and lights after sunset or when visibility is reduced.

8. Do not operate golf carts outside the campground, on public roads, in creeks, on trails, or in undesignated areas, and obey the posted speed limit of 10 MPH at all times.

9. Late returns may be charged $10 per hour up to $80 per day; violations may result in immediate loss of privileges and no refunds.

10. The golf cart may carry no more passengers than the number of seats provided; all passengers must remain seated while the cart is moving.

11. Any malfunction, damage, or unsafe condition must be reported to management immediately.

12. Any violation of these rules may result in immediate loss of rental privileges and no refund.

13. BEFORE RENTAL: Lessee must note any damages and verify that the golf cart has a full tank of gas and starts prior to use. A drivers license and proof of comprehensive insurance for each driver must be presented at this time. Inspection must be performed in the presence of staff.

14. AFTER RENTAL: Lessee must note any newly damaged areas upon return of the cart and notify office immediately. Return keys to the office during business hours only (before 11AM). Return inspection must be performed in the presence of staff. 

INSPECTION AND DAMAGE NOTATION

Lessee acknowledges that pre-existing damage, if any, will be documented prior to use.

Lessee acknowledges that any damages acquired during rental, if any, must be brought to the attention of management immediately.

Lessee acknowledges that damages noted by staff upon the return of golf cart, if any, will be documented and the lessee will be charged per incident noted.
