Park Rules

ALL MEMBERS & PUBLIC CAMPERS MUST CHECK IN AT ARRIVAL (Online or in the Lodge)

Meramec Valley Campground is a member owned facility formally known as Meramec Valley Owners Association (MVOA). MVOA promotes a family atmosphere. Your safety and having a pleasant experience are our top priorities. our park rules are enforced to ensure everyone leaves with the desire to return. Please report any suspicious or malicious activity to our staff or a member as soon as possible. For park related emergencies call 573-885-2541 (after hours, choose prompt #2)

Meramec Valley Campground takes great pride in the beautiful canopy at our park. In cooperation with the Missouri Department of Conservations, we ask you to please not transport firewood into or out of our campground. By purchasing firewood sold by Meramec Valley Campground, you are taking part in stopping the spread of pestilence and disease.

• Firearms are strictly prohibited
• Fireworks are strictly prohibited unless displayed by a licensed pyrotechnician, approved by the MVOA Board of Directors.
• Lewd, obscene, and violent behavior is strictly prohibited. Meramec Valley Campground provides a diverse, family atmosphere. Please consider an age-appropriate volume level.
• Golf carts are permitted and must be registered prior to or at the time of arrival. Golf carts may only be driven in the campground by a licensed driver. ATV's and Side-By-Sides are prohibited.
• Pets must be up to date on vaccinations and always leashed. your pet may be tethered at your campsite when you are present. DO NOT leave your pet unattended. Pets are prohibited from any building or the pool area. For the consideration of fellow campers, please clean up and dispose of your pet's waste. In consideration of your fellow campers, please refrain your pet from excessive barking.
• Tailgate riding or hanging off sides of vehicles is prohibited.
• Speed limit for all vehicles including golf carts is 10 MPH.
• Quiet time is 12:00am to 8:00am on holiday weekends. Quiet time is 11:00pm to 8:00am on all other nights. Always show consideration to your fellow campers by monitoring loud music, vehicles and voices especially during quiet hours.
• Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult after 11:00pm.
• Trash dumpsters are conveniently located in the main parking lot. Please dispose of all trash and debris on your campsite when leaving. Failure to do so could result in additional charges.
• Check In time is 2:00pm. Check Out time is 12:00pm.  All guests and members are required to sign a hold harmless waiver upon arrival. This step can be completed by accepting the Terms & Conditions through the Campspot reservation system. Members are able to check in / check out through the Members App.
• Gate cards accompany each reservation. To avoid additional fees, gate cards can be left in the the drop box located at the exit gate.
• Lake swimming is strictly prohibited.
• Damages to any Meramec Valley Campground property is subject to financial penalty, to be determined by management, and/or followed with persecution to the full extent of the law.
• Staff interaction should be respectful and courteous. Physically touching staff while on or off duty is strictly prohibited.

• No Lifeguard on Duty. Swim at your own risk.
• Children under 14 years of age must be always accompanied by an adult.
• Glass bottles are prohibited in the pool area
• Pets and golf carts are prohibited from the pool area.
• Horseplay and running while in the pool area are strictly prohibited.
• Cigarette butts and debris should be disposed of in waste receptacles and not in or around the pool decks.
• Large inflatables should only be used in the large olympic pool and not the diving pool.
• Showers and restrooms are located at the bathhouse behind the lodge. Please rinse off oils, sand, and dirt before entering the pool area.
